We manufacture and sell flat-deck barges and folding-platform barges. We have decades of collective experience both making and using all of our products including our signature product, the marine pile driver barge. We are also about to offer these barges for rent on marine construction projects all over the country.

Our custom 10’ x 25’ barge has a time-tested movable derrick tower and hydraulic hammer, pile driver assembly mounted on ways beside a central work channel that bisects the hull from bow to half-way back. This long opening in the deck and hull allows you to work from both sides of the derrick and depending on your requirements allows for multiple pile sets without moving the barge. The derrick slides from bow to mid-ships on its ways! Our design also features recessed hydraulic spuds at the bow that allow for snag free movement of the barge. Another feature, a rolled side wall bumper not only strengthens the sides it also keeps scuffing to a minimum keeping the boat looking good longer.

We’ve also beveled the bow so our barges move more easily through the water at speed when moving to the work site. And to get your barge from here to there we have also incorporated an engine mount at the stern making this the only barge that doesn’t need a push boat. This design element also allows for much easier positioning when working in tight spaces.

These are all hydraulic barges; the hammer, derrick and spuds are all operated with various hydraulic controls from a central control console mounted at a convenient height. We have designed our control console for ease of use and as a result we have cut down on the amount of “spaghetti” on the deck. The hydraulics are powered by a 20hp electric start internal combustion engine and can run all day on as little as 5 gallons of fuel.

You have multiple choices of hammer size. Our EC/115 Hydraulic hammer is capable of driving 6in to 8in pilings of wood, metal, plastic or fiberglass. We also offer a larger EC/225 Hydraulic hammer for pilings 8in to 14in with a striking force of 250,000 pounds. We can also outfit your barge with an air-hammer, hydraulic vibratory hammer, auguring system or any other system that makes your business go!

Our company is always testing and making changes to our systems as both our work and the industry evolve. We use our pile drivers everyday in our marine construction business so we know what does work, what has not worked and what probably will not work and we still keep trying to improve!
